...Specific action should include:

...• Stimulate employment policies and decent work. Action to promote decent work for all in line with the ILO agenda is essential and should cover measures and initiatives on employment, social protection, rights at work, including core labour standards (CLSs), social dialogue and gender equality...The EU should, in particular, contribute to strengthening labour market institutions and players, including employers’ and workers’ organisations and social dialogue between them. In this context, core labour standards should be further promoted, as essential prerequisites for the effective functioning of the labour market.”
